This Privacy Policy explains how BdNomad (“BdNomad”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use our website, dashboard, tools, and related services (the “Service”).

By using BdNomad, you agree to the practices described here. This policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and basic profile details from your Google account.
• Profile information: details you add about yourself, such as your skills, experience level, and freelancing preferences.
• Content you create: data you enter into the Service, including CRM leads, job entries, invoices, and notes.
• Payment information: when you subscribe, payments are handled by SSLCommerz. We receive confirmation and limited transaction details (such as plan, amount, and status) but do not collect or store your full card or banking numbers.
• Usage data: information about how you interact with the Service, such as pages viewed, features used, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
• Communications: messages you send us through support, email, or WhatsApp.

We use your information to:

• Provide, operate, personalise, and improve the Service.
• Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• Process your subscription and payments.
• Generate AI-assisted content, projections, and recommendations you request.
• Respond to your questions and provide support.
• Send you important account, security, billing, and service notices.
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues.
• Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We use Google Sign-In to authenticate you. When you choose to sign in, Google shares limited profile information (such as your name and email) with us so we can create and manage your account. We request only the information we need and use it in accordance with this policy and Google’s applicable requirements. We do not receive your Google password.

Subscription payments are processed in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) by our payment partner, SSLCommerz. When you pay, your payment-card or banking details are collected and processed directly by SSLCommerz under their own privacy and security practices. BdNomad does not store your full card numbers. We retain records of your transactions (such as plan, amount, date, and status) for accounting and support purposes.

We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, understand how the Service is used, and improve performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling some cookies may affect how the Service works.

We share information only in these limited circumstances:

• Service providers: trusted partners who help us run BdNomad, such as Google (authentication), SSLCommerz (payments), and our hosting, infrastructure, and analytics providers — only as needed to provide the Service.
• Legal reasons: when we believe disclosure is required to comply with the law, a valid legal request, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of BdNomad, our users, or others.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred subject to this policy.
• With your consent: when you ask us to share your information or otherwise direct us to do so.

The lead and decision-maker information available within the Service generally relates to businesses and professional (work) contact details aggregated from various sources. This data is provided to help you find and contact potential clients. You are responsible for using it lawfully and respectfully, including honouring opt-out requests and complying with applicable anti-spam and data-protection laws. If you are listed in such data and would like it reviewed or removed, contact us at the address below.

We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your account credentials confidential and notify us of any suspected unauthorised use.

BdNomad is not intended for, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under 18 years of age. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

BdNomad is operated from Bangladesh. If you access the Service from outside Bangladesh, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in Bangladesh or in countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws than your own. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
